My wife and her friends have all moved away from the smaller sizes as they say that they look somewhat dated and like older women's watches. They have the fashion watches from Michael Kors and others but the Rolex's and Cartier are in the 34/36 range and midsize Tanks. They look good. Go try them all on. There are a lot of choices.

I thought for sure my wife would want the 31. I let her pick, she took a 26 instead. As mentioned several time above. Let her decide, you may be surprised.

I think the 28 or 31 mm might look best on her imo. These will always be classic ladies sizes that will stand the test of time and be perfect for all occasions.

37mm on 5 3/4 wrist. My wife likes the visability and how it's sits on the wrist as compared to smaller sizes.

Two tone DJ on jubilee either yellow or rose gold. Boom. Custom made for women. I would go for 31 or 34 if she wants steel. 26 is too small in this era. They're actually discontinued now although some ADs may have new ones still in stock. OP is too plain imo. It's fine for me but I would buy her something with polished center links. Some bling is fine for women.

A plain larger size OP would look great with a diamond (tennis) bracelet.... a watch can be dressed up or worn on its own for those non- bling feeling days

My wife has quite a small wrist and has a yellow gold Daytona (same case size as the SS model) and absolutely loves it.

My wife has the 31 dj. She loves it and her wrist size is about 6 inches. I recommend the 31 or the 34. Avoid the 26 and 28.

Similar sized wrist. Chose a 31mm. The 36mm look too big. Here is a pic of 31mm
