Blue Fluted datejust or hulk

people, I'm completely torn. I am choosing between the hulk, Batman(jubilee) and date just(blue face, fluted bezel). I have an SD43, and was surprised at my indifference to the Batman. loved the green and was surprised by it's "fun factor" and absolutely loved the DJ. now I don't know what to do. I would like to get one of the above. I don't flip my watches, but do also share them with my son.

your thoughts please!

I would advise you don't reveal who your AD is.

I have since called every AD in Delhi mentioning my "friend" was offered these watches. Since then my wire transfer has gone out and I have the watches incoming. Thanks OP!

I find both the hulk and datejust with blue dial beautiful however if you are looking for something with a dial that has more "pop" to it I would think the hulk considering the green dial and green bezel. One of my wifes friends got her husband the datejust blue dial as a gift and I saw him twice before actually realizing on the third visit that it was the blue dial! I had only seen it from a distance the first two times as we were at large functions. On the third encounter we were at a small summer bbq and I got to chatting with him in noticed it was the blue dial. Maybe it is just me but I think the blue dial from about 15 feet away appears to be the black dial. Still beatiful but if you are looking for recognizable colour pop i would think the hulk is the better choice.

You answered your own question in your post. Go with the one you absolutely love. Don’t pick a “ hot” model because everyone else likes it. Be your own man and set your own style.

I just received my DJ41 (not fluted but smooth) after a 18 week wait ... and it is stunning. Also, it is a nice change up from your SD (the Hulk is a little too similar). I’ve had it for less than 24 hours but here are a few shots in different light...

And, I happen to LOVE my new BLNR

DJ wins it for me, you have a 'Professional Sport model' so go for something different, a bit dressier. You will then have a collection where each watch complements the other, giving some balance.

If your AD is good then you can add other watches at a later date.

Apples and oranges. Do you want a sporty dive watch, or a dressier all-arounder? If I was in your position I'd probably go for the more versatile DJ, but this is such a subjective question only you can really answer.

Only thing I'd say is that, objectively, the DJ has a newer movement (but not necessarily better.)

Since Hulk is not my thing, I would definitely go for DJ41 Blue.

Go for a the dressy and flashy model if you choose DJ. DJ Blue Diamond Dial, Jubilee, Fluted Bezel. But actually to be frank if I was offered a Hulk I would go for it over the DJ.

I have a blue DJ, great all around watch, but if I could do it over and had the choice I’d get the Hulk.’

I have a DJ41 blue smooth jubilee and love it. I also love the Hulk. If I had the opportunity to get both at MSRP, I'd probably end up with a Hulk. Just because it is harder to get and I would want to own both, but I assume it'll be harder to acquire Hulk later than the DJ. If I had to pay resale, I'd rather go with the DJ.
