How to tell if fake daytona
Hi guys, for those that dont know, here is a good way to tell if a daytona is fake.
On the 3 Chrono subdials there are outer rings (where the numbers are, 6, 9 and so on) in a different colour depending on the dial colour (for example on a white dial 116520 they are black) The thickness of these rings is NEVER right on a fake, they are always too thick and its easy to tell at first glance. Also to tell if it is a Zenith or rolex movement, draw a straight line through the center of the watch (use a ruler on the screen for example) if the middle of the 2 upper subdials lines up with center of dial, its a zenith. If the center of the 2 upper sub dials are slightly higher that the center of the dial, its a rolex movement. Hope this educates and helps! |
