126710 & Rolex (RSC) not selling you the oyster bracelet

Hi all,

Just wanted to make a quick thread - I was in London today and so popped by to RSC to see if it was possible to put a Jubilee on a 126710 BLRO...

In short, the Jubilee can be added to the 126710 ONLY if your watch is on an Oyster.

If your watch is on an Jubilee then you can only keep it on a Jubilee and RSC will NOT allow you to put it on an Oyster. Rolex will allow you to keep both bracelets.

So, oyster for oyster or Oyster to Jubilee but if it's on Jubilee then you can't go to Oyster...

The price for oyster is £1400 and Jubilee is £1700 (inclusive of VAT)

I asked why they have impleted this and asked if they would ever adapt the 5 digit policy i.e. allow you to have both bracelets and I was informed in the future maybe... They also said the direction is from Geneva Switzerland due to new models and would not say anymore....

Must agree does seem strange why you can only swap one way & not the other.

Maybe someone whose a little closer to Tolex might be able to elaborate m.

Rolex headquarters NYC told me the same thing.
