For sale is this Speedmaster 2998-1, the watch comes with it's original dial and handset including the much desired lollipop Chronograph hand.
It has just had (July 2019) a full Swiss Omega service of the movement and comes with a new 2 year warranty

Bracelet - It comes on a 1067 bracelet with 1 x 506 end link and 1 x aftermarket end link.

Dial - The dial is in very good condition for it's age. The printing is clear and all intact. Like the hands, it would really benefit from a relume to lift the overall appearance of the watch. The current lume is dark in spots and missing in others.

Case - Surprisingly thick for it's age, but with scratches and some dings.

An Extract from the Omega Archives has been sent off for, as you'll probably know the service has been down for a few months so there may be a delay in getting that. I do have correspondence with Omega confirming the movement serial matches the 2998-1 case and also that this watch was delivered to Australia in 1960.
