I observed from the outer fluted, they are sometimes looks a bit different from: the shape, the dome, the slope. But all that matters are the inner diameter and the thickness. So the question remain and need some expert to answer please...

I guess the other question would be is the watch in question plexi or sapphire? I imagine that changes things too shape wise.

I can't vouch for the quartz models, but the day-date and datejust automatics are indeed interchangeable but, I believe, only saphire-saphire and acrylic-acrylic.

Tangential query: are the sapphire crystals interchangeable between OQs and DJ36ís ? I want one for my 17014 but would prefer not to pay for a full service at RSC.

Rolex did make the Rolex OQ case with a 1575 movement so the case size should be similar?

Good point, I want an AR/LEC for my black dial, for some reason that one gets the worst reflections on the cyclops.

Ill ask my watchmaker and see what he can do. (Giovanni, 5/5 stars if you live in the SF/Bay Area)
