Novice: legit?

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Rolex-Datej...F&LH_Auction=1

This seller “sold” it before and relisted. Also, used some new and some same pictures. Looks sketchy.

Please advise.

Looks OK to me.
Movement and case are genuine - dial seems original too.

I think the diamonds were added to an otherwise original dial. The bulky gold surrounds aren’t a Rolex design.

Also, the glass is probably not original. Would a Rolex authorized watchmaker service this Watch being that it has that modifications?

The glass is replacement
There is NO such thing as a "Rolex authorized watchmaker "
There are Rolex Service Centers 100% owned by Rolex, and 'Approved Rolex Repairers"
They are strictly controlled but not allowed to call themselves "authorized"

Rolex, will not service any watch with aftermarket parts, they will insist to replace them before proceeding

Has Rolex ever done diamond dials with lume dots also?
