With resales hitting £60-80K now I think the wait can be up to 2 years, but maybe 6 months if you are lucky and in the right town.

I waited for mine at Patek Salon London for about a year. My friend asked for the same and the Salon didn't even want to put any more new names to the list because the list is getting ridiculously long ( according to them ).

Sadly—-The wait on all these ‘hot’ references is long enough to change your mind and buy something else!!!

Absurd how full PM sport watches have now become "hot" items.

I remember when no one even wanted them, and they could sit in a glass display case for months.

And this was in 2017. :)

Funny as I was just thinking the same while reading this thread.
I remember a 5711r Sitting in the window of an AD at Hong Kong Tsim Sha Tsui, one of the most densely populated places in the world. It was sitting there for at least 4 months. This was also in 2017.

Absurd but inevitable when supply is fixed and demand keeps on rising, and the number of buyers who can move from SS PP to PM PP is higher than for any other brand like Rolex, demand is very fluid and very Veblen for Patek.
