The 5167a on rubber is one of the most underrated fly under the radar timepieces on the market. Until you wear it in person the pictures do not do the watch justice and once you wear it you won't take it off. Since I have gotten my 5167a and 5711 I have not put on either my AP roc or AP diver.

I never really liked the 5167 and thought it was a little crazy but then about 3 years ago I tried on a friend of a friends 5167 and it was love at first sight. So understanded but full of detail. Perfect for flying under the radar.

All the best with your decision. And if you can swing the 5167 at msrp it's a great thing in this market. Sent from my SM-N960U1 using Tapatalk |

Like i said.... i will still buy what i like - just interested to get peoples' thoughts. However it looks like 5167 by a wide margin, esp if the 5167 is msrp and 15450 is grey mkt |

My vote would definitely be for 5167 (though quite bias, as the proud owner of a 5065 on Tropical). I go back and forth between strap and bracelet, though. In the end, can't go wrong with either, and easy enough to justify each. If cost isn't an issue, I'd go with whichever you can get first.
And, while I wouldn't ever work out in any of the candidates you mention (the Rolexes are better suited for it, though I don't wear any watch to the gym), if you feel the need to remember: The PP has nearly 3x the water resistance as the AP (120m vs. 50m). |

Both white AP 15400 and 5167 rubber. (I know it wasn’t a choice) both feel great on the wrist, but I did have the 1.5 link on my AP to make it fit right.

Never regretted trading ap for aqua, it's a classic. Didn't miss the shiny bracelet, perhaps understated more my thing. The rubber strap is so comfy also.

Good to hear the rubber strap is very comfy. i think most people say it is a very comfortable strap, however i think i have seen one TRF post that they could wear the rubber strap for more than a few hours because it bothered their wrist. AP is cool! Aqua is cool! I guess different watches for different purposes. Can't go wrong with either, i suppose. Value for money is definitely with the Aquanaut, since i can pick up at MSRP . Unfortunately, the AP blue would be at grey $$$$ or 40% premium |
