I love it on the 5320, but it seems to conflict with the more causal nature of the 5172. I need to see it in person.

Definitely room for both in a collection.

A special piece for sure but certainly not a one off. I know of another collector who had the same modifications done by Patek at his request. He was told it was a unique piece and Patek asked him not to post it on social media. The irony is both obtained the watches from the same AD.

Not the same person. The watch you posted belongs to KL and I don't know him personally.

Interesting to see a non-diamond 5170P. However, having own it for a while, I prefer it with diamonds

Looks really sharp with the batons. I’d buy one if I had the chance.

It’s meh with the batons. Diamonds make it beautiful.

You do realize you have sunburst on your 5712 right?
Now, tell me more about more Patek shipments being made imminently. I have waiting fatigue on an 11

Do you diamond converts (myself included) also now appreciate the 116506 platona and maybe even prefer it over the brown sub rings. I’m now leaning that way. Diamonds are contagious lol

Lol. It has lines to break up the sunburst. ;)

The shipments all start trickling in May. There wasn't shipments leading into their fiscal year end close and then bassel. So they are now coming... you should call and ask...if u miss it probably take another bunch of months. They already know which watches they should be getting roughly.

Most patek dealers are running very light on inventory. Probably 40-50% below average inventory.

Heard this from a bunch of people so not just 1 AD.

Diamonds nicely paired with beads. If you wear 2 pracelets it could be a bead/diamond sandwich.

Good morning/afternoon brother lol

Ben - I know we traded PMs on this subject and you ended up pulling the trigger.

So did I. Same as you I am not looking for an "investment grade watch" but something that tugs at my heart strings and I won't take a bath on financially. Just put it on a maroon strap. Photos to follow!
