Since I am expecting an incomings soon. I will debate the 5196r vs DD40 after the incoming (its an either or for me here)....Regardless tho im going to plan to get the 5320g at year end.

I love my DD40, the bracelet is incredibly comfortable. Only complaint I have is visibility can kind of suck in certain lighting (I have the blue romans).

I am extremely happy with my DD40 WG silver+romans, I have sold my DaytonaC white because I do not like itslegibility and I am planning to purchase a 5196J to “replace” the Daytona.

What do you like about it?

I was offered recently, but passed because it didn’t feel right on my wrist.

Wife was not okay with it before. But shes given me the go ahead.

Like the modernized vintage feel of the watch and the history it carries

1. 1591 dial numerals + syringe hands
2. 2405 case and lugs art deco which is carried through to new 5172g
3. Love the creme lacquer that mimics surroundings.
4. Boxed 3d sapphire reminiscent of vintage plexi
5. Lume which is not usual for a dress watch.
6 love the size on my wrist


As a reminder of how it looked on me
