Rolex symbol laser etched crystal on "K" serial ?

Good day everyone
I have a question to ask since I just got my new(to me) Submariner 16610 K serial and I have try all the ways to see rolex laser etched crystal but I can't find one (used the same ways with my 116610 and spot it easily)
so I would like to ask what is the year rolex introduce the symbol laster etched crystal, I do my research most of them said it's on K serial ... is that right ?
but who's here have a K serial one and doesn't have rolex laser etched crystal ?

Thanks guy

Rolex doesn't change or introduce anything based on a serial number. On some models the changeover was during the K/Y release, so you will find some with and some without..

Addidionally, replacement crystals in the system at the time would not have the etching, so it's not really something that is right or wrong..

This thread isnt that old, so i thoguth i could add for others researching on this topic.

I just got a K series DateJust 16200, and I could not find the LEC. I'm still trying to figure out when they added it for the DJ.

Btw, I spent over an hour with a flashlight trying to find that thing....it's not there.

Why waste your time looking some K will, some will not its that simple, but no big deal either way. If you bought from reliable source why even bother to look its so hard to see.

Kind of makes sense that its difficult to see and not all Rolex have it.

I have always bought high end Japanese brands in clothing and the majority of stuff is a magnet for fakers.

The brands constantly change what they do to try to outwit the people selling fakes and even on good fakes there is usually something that gives it away.
