Opinions on a Big RED Daytona 6263.
Hi guys hope you are all relaxing after Christmas and enjoying the festive season..
Ive been bitten by the bug of the Vintage Daytona's after trying one on recently and on the look out for a nice mint example with or without papers.. Any advise on the following example would be welcome with regards to any signs of relume, dial, case polishing etc etc,, Also reasonable price for one like this full set and without.. Thank you very much and look forward to more education on these awesome vintage pieces.. |

I think it looks great bt I am still learning about vintage Daytonas. My only advise is to BUY the dealer. That way you don't find out later that things were re-lumed or anything else. The other thing I can say is buy condition. The bezel looks perfect and thats a big deal. also make sure that the bracelet is tight to the case with minimal stretch.

As has been said, buy the dealer. Great watch. I've been looking for a great example myself but they are not easy to find. Watch looks pretty good. My only hesitation is that the white subdials look a bit dark/dirty and the crystal (which can be replaced) looks scratched up. I am not an expert.
