16710 bracelet help

I want to add a 16710 pepsi to my collection but I really don't like the older hollow bracelets. I like how substantial the new bracelets feel and that's kind of what is holding me back from pulling the trigger. Can I purchase a new bracelet from a sub or gmt and put it on a 16710? If so what model number bracelet should I look for?

I transferred my Easylink bracelet from my 214270 Explorer to my 16710 X serial with lug holes.
I use the original shoulder-less springbars of the 16710.
Perfect fit. :)

I now have a mix of classic and modern for everyday use.
I'm putting the 214270 on leather/nato.
I kept the original bracelet of the 16710 in the box.

Sure you can...
But that is an awful expensive outlay for something you can't really notice while you are wearing it..

Thanks for the replies! Maybe the vintage watch that I tried on in the past had a lot of stretch and not all of them will be like that. I just like to know that I have the option to change the bracelet.
