Rolex, Service and Authenticated
Hi all, im completely new to this forum but looking for some advice.
My dad did some work for a client a good ten years ago and as part payment he gave my dad a watch. My dad always believed the watch to be a ''Fake'' and has had it in a draw for many many years. A few months back he decided he wanted to wear it but the watch wasnt working so he took it to a local jeweller to have a new battery put in. Upon collection the jeweller told him that the watch doesnt use batteries and that it is a geniune Rolex, he was utterly suprised! He has since taken it to another jeweller who took it apart and confirmed it is a geniune rolex, he said he could tell by the way it was sealed apparently? Anyways, since finding out it is geniune (or so we believe, i wondered if there are any servicing companies, who can give the watch a full service and polish up aswell as somehow certificate the authenticity of the watch? We are based in essex so ideally somewhere local although its not a necessity. I have attached some photos of the watch. Not sure of the exact model or its potential worth if anyone can advise? Any advice is much appreciated |
