Help with getting a proper Jubilee for my BLNR

I want a jubilee to swap out on my BLNR.

I know there have been threads and pics showing the BLNR on a Jubilee (believe me, I've been trying to go through them all). I was about to pull the trigger on a 62510 w/555 end links but the seller (who is great, btw) thinks it may not be the best option as those end links are for cases w/ holes. He states it would be difficult to remove once in place.

We are thinking the 502T end links have the cutouts underneath to remove the springbars- can someone verify if they have used a 621510 w/ 502T for a BLNR? If so I could just get the 62510 and add some 502T end links.

I am also considering just spending the extra dough for a Super Jubilee. This should fit my BLNR and the only adjustment needed would be to replace the 2.0mm with 1.8mm spring bars. I think I would like the hefty, solid feel but no microadjustments and it sure is pricey.

Opinions, advice from those who have made this swap is greatly appreciated.

Spend the extra dough for the super jubilee. The hidden clasp is a thing of beauty.

There was a Super Jubilee in the FS threads but looks like it sold BNIB too!

It isn't that easy. The 502T ends are proper for the GMT, but they only fit on the Jubilee with a 50 stamped on the last link to allow you to use the 2.0mm spring-bars. Without that 50 last link you get a 1.8mm tube, not 2.00mm. The 555 ends and most Jubilees are for the 36mm cased DJ so they are a compromise.

No Super Jubilee was made for the GMT. Any you get is for a DJ and 36mm case w/ 1.8mm spring-bars and smaller pivots. It is a compromise fit for the look of a Jubilee.

Thanks Larry, I did not know that. Good info.

Help with getting a proper Jubilee for my BLNR

I have a 62510 with 555B endlinks that have custom cut outs for the no holes case:

Not the most beautiful execution, but it works!

Did you just dremel or file those out?

Either way would probably work, but the seller did it for me

I'm with you on the jubilee for a GMT. It seems they are harder to find than Bigfoot.

It's a shame the super jubilee is not an option for the current GMT.

Larry is correct.
The older GMT 16710 does have a jubilee bracelet option: 62510H 50 end piece 502T endlink for no holes lugs (502B for holes lugs), 2mm spring bars. This will fit newer 116710 like your BLNR

The new super jubilee can fit BLNR , but there's a gap at the rear. Although it looks pretty, the SJ is soft like a NATO, the new case is top heavy, the use of 1.8mm springbars will sacrifice its firmness to fixing on the case, one needs to be careful to keep an extra eye out.

So you think the 1.8mm will not be able to hold the case on to the bracelet long term? Will it bend if stressed? Or do you imply it could just pop out?

Why on earth do someone wants to put a BLNR on a jubilee bracelet?

Super Jubilee is worth the extra and 1.8 is strong enough for a DJ so why not for a GMT.
For a perfect fit you can buy 1 1/4 links
