Welcome to the Forum!
A very nice watch and colors.
You have a Mk-4 version of the 1675 dial.
It has been debated previously about such combination, i.e., questioning if such an early production case would go with the dial, and it is possible.
Just enjoy the watch and congratulations!

Welcome to TRF!

Great watch and awesome "creme brule" patina. Very nice non-cyclope(no magnifier at 3) crystal.
Periods correct dial or not, enjoy this beauty and wear it in the best of health.

Thank you for the compliments. I really love this watch I just want to understand it
better so I can appreciate it more.

I was told that the dial is a long E and therefore
It is a 1972 dial. What does long E mean and how true is it?

Any other info regarding this watch with 3.2mil series would be much appreciated. What else should I know? The bracelet is a c&i riveted racelet with a 74 marking what does this mean?

Thanks again

No, sir. Not a Long-E, which would be a Mk-1. this is a Mk-4.

Here is a link to peruse..

Wow Thank you for this very informative link. So it is safe to say that the dial was changed when it was service sometime after purchase?

Is this a bad thing? A later dial on a earlier model?

Exactly, later dial on an earlier model. Just means dial is not period correct, however how much it bothers you depends on if you can live with it or not. It's a beautiful piece, enjoy it!
