Recommendations needed: Vintage Rolex repair in Los Angeles area

Apologies in advance if there is a better location for this thread.

Seeking advice on watch repair shops that can work on vintage Rolex watches in the Los Angeles area (preferably somewhere in west LA, but I will travel wherever necessary). I have a beautiful yellow gold OP from my grandfather (from late 1950s) that needs an expert eye and some repair work.

Long story short the watch took a bit of a drop in my bedroom this morning...accidentally knocked it over while reaching for my phone from bed (usually never keep the watch there). It is still keeping time/movement is still working but now the whole dial is misaligned and when I pull the crown out it comes out completely (I can screw it back in). Regarding the misalignment, it's as if the whole dial has been rotated counter-clockwise by ~30 degrees.

I can send pictures tonight once I'm back home but wanted to get any local repair shop recommendations in the meantime. Appreciate any insight you can provide. Thank you!!!

This is perfect. Thank you, Grandcrew. Will head over there this upcoming week.

Check with John (sensui is his screen name). He has a good watchmaker out in LA.

I too have a beautiful vintage gold Oyster Perpetual (YG 1013), and even though I live all the way up here in the Land Of Moose And Beaver, my OP made a lengthy trip all the way down to your hometown, where Edvi and his crew at LA Watch Works in Pasadena are expertly sorting it out as I type this.

I posted elsewhere about this watchmaker, but it bears repeating if you are going to Pasadena. There's Shant's Clock & Watch Repair at 8 Holly St., Pasadena, in Old Town near the 210 Freeway. One of the best in repairing Rolexes and he can probably look at it right away to give you an idea what to expect in repairs. I highly recommend him.

Thanks. I'll look into this.

Thanks. I'll probably stop by here first if that's the case, especially if I making the drive to Pasadena. Curious to see what the difference on pricing and repair time will be.

Thanks again everyone here for your input.

LAWW is infamous now in the vintage community worldwide with their quality work and backing from good ol' Eric Ku. I use a local watchmaker here in San Diego (little south of LA) that's a CW21 that's serviced all my vintage pieces without a hitch (including some more sensitive pieces like a 4 digit Daytona). All local Swiss dealers go to him here in San Diego when it goes beyond changing a battery at an AD. I can guarantee he'll do an excellent job on your watch and is of the highest integrity with a fair price. Name is Tom Doan and his shop is D's Time Service. Certainly the lead time will be much quicker than LAWW hah.

Appreciate your insight, sensui. I think I may check out LAWW and the other repair shop in Pasadena first given it's much more convenient location-wise for me. Thanks for the recommendation though, I've noted it down!
