You can still buy it from AD, but not sure about the future. My guess, yes it is discontinued..

The DDII has been discontinued, and will be replaced with the new DD40. If you are on the fence about buying one, especially with a non common dial, well now is the time!

IMHO...Good. I never liked the "extra large" version of the DD. Love the 40 though....and certainly the elder 36mm's
