18 yr old bracelet, what to do?
I have an eighteen yeard old GMT Master II that I have had since new. Just lost a pin on my clasp, I am sure due to daily wear for so long now. I need to replace that obviously, but was thinking I will need to replace all as I am sure that this is the start of something and I certainly don't want to chance it with a bracelet that old. So, question is what do I do? New bracelet, replace all pins? I'm no watch tech, but love this watch and want to take care of this ASAP.

Look at used bracelets or get it repaired by Michael Young.

My 28 yr old SS Bracelet has been with Michael Young for a couple of weeks now. Can't wait to see what it looks like returned. The pictures I've seen of his work are incredible. He came very highly recommended So I'm very excited. He responded with a quote quickly and communication has been excellent.

If it just needs pins, why send it to Michael? Any jewelry store or standard watch repair shop can handle a few pins, seems like overkill to spend hundreds getting a complete overhaul. the pins should cost a couple bucks.

Thanks for all the responses. I'll check into Michael. I guess I can find him on here? What is a NATO; besides a bunch of North Atlantic countries!? My buddy who bought his Sub the same time I bought mine said he got an Everest band.
The reason I don't want to just go to a regular Jeweler is that I really want to replace every possible pin and want good quality stuff like the orginal. |

NATO is pictured below and can be found on Amazon or other sites for under $20.00. they are nice because even if a pin breaks, the other side will hold it on and keep it from hitting the ground.
