Vintage Tudor Advice.
Hey guys,
Just wondering if you guys might know a little bit about this watch, also what should I do with it? Should I spend the money and restore it or leave it the way it is. I am planing to change it to a black leather strap. BTW it is very accurate. Thanks |

i like this piece as it is. change it to a black strap and see how it looks and feel for you. if it works for you- go for it.... if not, then you have the origianl band and enjoy it...

Love the patina on that dial. Wish my wrists weren't too big for the 34 mm size.

Get RSC to restore it - looks like it deserves it.

Early Swiss only dial, and lumeless. Early 60's I'm guessing. Get a new strap or even an oyster/jubilee for it and enjoy. I love the old manual wind oysters, my 1972 6426 days hello

Does it have sentimental value ? The cost of a service may equal it's fmv. It's a nice watch !

Thanks for everyone's reply. I did some more digging and found this post.
https://www.blackbough.co.uk/product...-1958-wwtosw2/ I think it's from the 50's, before they changed the logo to a shield. I did bring it to a RSC, he recommends that I leave it, since there's a small crack in the back plate, and they don't have a replacement part for it. I'm just worried that wearing it without it being services (probably for decades) might break it. |

What needs to be restored? Looks great to me with plenty of character. A nice leather strap would suit it well. That's what I did for my great grandfathers Omega.
