For me, pre-ceramic for Subs and PM Daytonas. However, the new SS CE Daytona is hard to resist

You need to wear a pre ceramic for a month to really decide.

Some of the pre-Cs do have some charm but the all round quality of the ceramics does it for me.

My experience limited to 1406 and 114060. Just recently managed to try both on wrist. Interm of feels and look, I prefer ceramic as the watch looks bigger and looks great on my wrist. The pre ceramic one looks a bit smaller in size to my liking and yes the thin end link and clasp contributed on why I chose the ceramic.

Pre. Though I haven't handled one the new Daytona might just be the only C model I prefer to pre. I've yet to try a SD4K too. I doubt I'll prefer it but it's still a nice watch.

I like both, but the pre-ceramic models get the edge for me.

So judging by the pole, ceramic is favoured. I expected that but it is interesting to know. I wouldn't mind doing an age range poll aswel to see who is favouring ceramic and pre but I think that is going a step too far lol

From what I've read the new updates are aimed at middle age due to the better eligibility of the maxi dial. I am 25 and most of my freinds are around the same age and they all prefer ceramic models. Personally I always thought the ceramic models attracted younger Rolex enthusiasts due to the thicker cases and I expected older Rolex enthusiasts to prefer the pre ceramic. Just a thought I would be interested to know what age group voted for each.

I prefer the 4 and 5 digit sport models as they tend to fit my wrist better, but lately have been leaning back to the six digits. Not really because I prefer them, but more so for practicality. I worry too much about my vintage pieces so will not wear them the way I would a modern watch. May be time to get another 6 digit Sub.

I like them both in the sport watch realm. My D serial Coke GMT is amazing to wear and view. Fits great, stunning in all light conditions. My Subc date has a heft and bulk I like too - case and clasp impresses me every time I latch it. So I can't vote because if I had the funds I'd get a ceramic yellow gold GMT and a 5513 to add to the first two!

Ceramic cerachrome bezel insert 5 times stronger than steel aluminum.

I have the pre-ceramic bluesy and ceramic batman. I prefer the case and the overall elegance of the dial and bezel in pre-ceramic models. I think the larger case/hour markers/writing on bezel is making the newer models too busy, but that is just me.

Although the half link adjustment on the batman is a very nice option to have.

Pre-ceramic; never had an issue with the bracelets, prefer the case size and just think these will age better over the years.

For me it's either vintage (four digit) or modern with ceramic bezel, I don't like the five digit Rolex watches, they are not as refined as the new ones but also lack the charm of vintage.

While Rolex sport watches always incrementally changed over the years, the ceramic models changed so much at once that they're not even on my radar, despite buying all of my Rolex's during the ceramic era. I think it's Rolex's version of the Porsche air cooled/water cooled moment. Granted, the Daytona-c is the exception to me, because I never liked the previous polished bezel version, but I struggle to think of another ceramic model I'd even wear.

New to the forum, really like what Rolex did with the ceramic bezel. Would someone please refer me to where I could buy from a member?

THANKS!
