USA the cheapest place to buy rolex

Sorry ive now removed the political eliment that was deemed unacceptable.:

USA the cheapest place to buy rolex
Now the dollar is in freefall could the US end up been the cheapest place for us Brits to buy our beloved Rolex.
It would seem that some people have enjoyed the effects Brexit brought from a purely selfish point of view.....be interesting to see how sympathetic the posts will be from the uk.

Yes but you would technically have to get it through customs without paying the VAT.

You'll pay sales tax in the US if you walk out the door with it, and still have to pay VAT when you bring it back. Best case, you're still going to pay more than buying from home.

Just move here and buy all the cheap Rolexes you want. What could go wrong?

Not sure that USD is in freefall. @1.24 it's still much stronger than pre brexit.

Rolex in USD purchase in UK sans VAT (and perhaps Canada) is still the buy. Feel free to move to the USA as we have truly great weather and plenty of Rolex timepiece availability too as compared to the UK :)

PS: Our beaches have sand.

I see that the Euro is weaker compared to the dollar now, than it was this morning.

Yes OP. The dollar is in free fall! Now is the time to buy.

In the English-speaking world, rolex prices are about the same, near-as-makes-no-difference. Just buy wherever you find it cheapest. Saving $€£500 by traveling overseas and having to deal with customs and import duties/hassle doesn't seem worth it to me.

People trying to play currency fluctuations to buy luxury jewelry.

Good luck.

Do you really just want a cheap Rolex? Why not buy from a trustworthy dealer or AD and get a fair price and good service. Sorry, your post lacks any form of substance or helpful information.

Bit rude

I wasn't trying to be helpful but clearly it was substantial enough for you to bother replying

Since Armageddon has been scheduled, I've sold all my Rolex for pennies on the dollar, running to the hills, etc. Seriously? No one remembers 1980? Certain peril awaited us with the election of Ronald Wilson Reagan. Without commenting on the Reagan years or the aftermath too much because I was incarcerated at the time, most of us survived. The currency took a hit, but it wasn't sudden.
