Are you sure about this? Even if the lugs are the same size the holes for the lugs on the case and also the holes on the bracelet would NOT line up. Its a completely different shape.

Are you saying this from experience or what?

Well that proves it can be done, at least on older models, but also proves as far as I’m concerned why it absolutely 100% should not be done! Not a good look, like wearing sneakers with a suit.

I'd like to do stuff like that when I grow up...!!! Great job. I like the GMT with the regular Oyster bracelet better.

I thought it would look terrible but it really doesn't look bad especially in white gold. It's just such a well designed bracelet. While the GMTs have come on jubilees, I feel that they make the watch a little dated. I love the jubilee on DJs but I think the Oyster looks best on every sports Rolex. However I wouldn't recommend anyone do it especially if you're going to do any kind of water sports with the BLRO on. While the clasp on the President is very good and secure for the most part, I wouldn't take the risk in the water with any watch that doesn't have a flip lock. I've never had the president clasp pop open on me, but I'm still always worried that it could happen and it has happened to DD owners so my fears aren't unwarranted.

The GMT IIc's while not made for diving, have the trip lock crown which makes them a really robust watch for everything but deep diving.

If anyone has both a WG DD40 and a BLRO and willing to take the time to try this out, please share pics!!!

Oh really? I am very surprised to hear that as I understood the President bracelet was only to be offered on the Day Date. Furthermore I do not think it is a good combination of styles as I stated, something my tastes and Rolex don't seem to disagree on too often!

i know used the DD40 in the mock up, but actually I think if it were possible it would have to come from a 36mm DD. I believe the DD40 bracelet is 21mm
