Hi. I’m a first time Rolex buyer and I’ve bought a Rolex sea dweller deep sea blue. The watch is beautiful and everything about it seems authentic even the paperwork with the warranty card. However the serial no of my watch starts with a Y.
From what I’ve seen online Y serial nos were in the year 2002/3 whereas the deep sea blue was launched in 2014.
Please help.

Watches produced after ~2011 have completely random serial numbers. A Random serial can begin with any letter or number, including Y.
