Ok I get it now....

So today I got to put this baby on and now I get it. The weight, size, and thickness are right on. Passed on this baby (next guy is happy) as I'm still waiting on the blue......

That is a nice watch. I'm not sure why it's refered to here as SS being that its a WG bezel but it is very nice.

Because the case is SS - the hands & hour indices are also WG as on most Rolex, but that doesn't mean the whole watch has to be referred to as WG

That's a great looking watch! Hope to see one in person soon. Must have been a tough pass but good for you to stay on track for blue.

Yes, I have to admit, the steel SkyDweller strikes me as the most appealing watch in the Rolex catalog at the moment (if you can get it at list). The white and black are great options...but the blue is just fantastic. I prefer the batons on the steel version as well.

Very nice. But don't you have kids to put through college, Rick?

That’s a beauty. I’d probably hold out for the blue dial myself also. But hard to pass up that one either.

Looks great! I hear a lot of people complain that the Explorer 2 is too big, but the Sky-Dweller is also 42mm. How does it compare on the wrist to the Explorer 2 size-wise? It looks perfect on your wrist in my opinion.

The Sky Dweller is simply amazing in pics and stunning in person and on the wrist. On my list for sure.

I thought size was spot on for me but I'm a bigger guy (5'11, 230 lbs w/ 7.5 inch wrist). A 42 is just right for me as Ive thought that Daytonas wore just a hair small on me. To make things more interesting- and this is a FIRST!! I showed my wife the pic and she said it was the best looking watch she'd EVER seen and I should get it. I showed her pics of the blue and she said to go get the white. I didn't see that coming! I will probably pass bc I have the white Daytona C and I'm fine with just white dial, hmmm....
