Four Watch Collections

This selection keeps my covered for most any situation. Please share yours, and is your methodolgy diversity, focus on 1 style or metal, brand focused etc. I suspect we all try and convince ourselves that some method is behind the madness.

I can see why. Well diversified. Very interesting pieces while still being classic. Very nice!

Nice looking 4

I've slimmed down to 3 currently and plan to add the AP later this year

You just had to show off again! The 8 Daytonas weren't enough? j/k! Beautiful watches and very fine choices.

The RO Chrono is really a superb watch. It also has the date! No compromises have to be made. It's also one of the watches on my radar. I prefer the blue dial but honestly they are stunning in any color.

One of my great regrets is not buying an RM005 titanium when I had the chance years ago. Beautiful watches sir.

They also have a 38mm version I’m in around London on Tuesday for work might pop in and try it on!

to me the size was perfect. Its the lug shape on my flat wrist that prevented it from lying flat. It always was on one side of my wrist or the other where the lugs could curve around my wrist bone. Its best for those with more round wrists.

Other than that is a great watch, pretty good value actually (minus resale), and can dress up or down very well.

My wrists are pretty flat so it sounds like I’ll have the same issue. Although I do really like the newly designed Santos De Cartier. April needs to come soon so I can try it on! Besides Tyler you have that gorgeous Patek Pilot watch to keep your wrist warm!!!!

Four Watch Collections

These are the 4 I would keep.

Edit: the SDc is fighting for the spot with the LVc though.

My four with the most wrist time is my Rolex quartet...

I recently swapped my Daytona black SS onto leather strap just to change things up with some variety :)

Diver for rough days and weekends
GMT for travel
Daytona White daily wearer
Daytona black daily wearer

I'm more of a vintage guy. I also have IWC Mark XII and 16570 Polar but I’m in the process of putting them on consignment to get myself ready for my grail: a 1675.

- 1996 16710 being the semi-modern daily driver as GMT is very useful for my work.
- 1970s Doxa Sub 300T. I'm a diver but of course this one stays mostly dry.
- 1960s Guinand Flying Officer made by Gallet. Quite versatile.
- 1970 Patek 3537 with blue dial for dressier situations. Thanks to the dial color, it can do casual, too.

i have 4 in total. all i consider everyday watches. my goal putting together this collection was to be complementary, so there's diversity with brand, complications, bezels, dial colour, and size.

i could use a blue dial and probably more diversity w/ markers vs numerals and country of origin.

Still collecting. With hopefully more to add before I can mature to choosing only 4.
