i probably wouldn't like it as much if i was not an aquanaut owner already. However IMO the orange accents make it different enough from a 5164 to maybe consider having both.

now i just need to see what Rolex releases... 30 minutes until my AD opens. Yeah they are on speed dial
I was wavering back and fourth on the 5168G since last year, but i prefer the steel and the chronograph complication. However, the sub dial looks weird the more i look at it, it doesnt look like a circle. Its more of an oval.

Confused me at first glance.
It has no running seconds, what you see is a 60-minute chrono counter instead. Definitely looks like PP is aiming for some ROO sales with that orange strap. |

I’m not sure about the orange, but no doubt it will look very nice in the flesh. I think I would pay a bit less and get the 5164 if I wanted an aquanaut, or pay more for the 5990 if I wanted a chrono.
The case looks nicely balanced though. Looks thinner than the 5980, for the same complication. |

I like it but it does seem a lot for a SS even with a complication.
I like the orange highlights (reminds me a bit of the EXPII or my old MKII Speedy) I do like that it's 42mm personally I think I'd get the PM 5168G or for the same/less money get a 5712 Maybe that's because I have the 5167r already though. |

Like it with the orange rubber, not so much with black but need to see real pics.
Is it really 42mm? |
