So....which, if any rumors turned out to be correct?

I did see one successful prediction.....a member predicted it would be a Pepsi instead of Coke. Other than that???

I predicted root beer. But only half accurate since a tt and rose gold instead were released.

Calling the RB ahead of time was a solid prediction!

Very disappointed there's no new Milgauss, Polar Exp1 or dual time chronograph. Wanted something truly exciting - you can keep your pastel Pepsi.

Well, technically the WG GMT 116719 was discontinued..... I doubt anyone saw a blue dial coming! I think it looks very sharp, and that new movement should be fantastic!

Basically DSSD is gone and updated with newer model. So, he was right (whoever he was) that old DSSD was being retired.

Thanks!

That means i get the first one off the production line !!! hahahaha

to be honest .... you never know with Rolex they could have come out with Green/Black GMT. but I felt my rationale and reasoning were sound.

although i didn't expect them to come out with new WG Pepsi with blue dial

the WG BLRO in its currentl iteration (black dial, pre BW2018) can no longer be ordered at the AD, thus discontinued.

Not really unless you want to believe what you want. Folks can only know if AD's stopped taking new orders for the current stock of DSSD. Which shows that it was being stopped or changed or upgraded. So that part is 100% right. They upgraded the watch with new movement, new case and new bracelet and gave it a new model number. It is basically different watch. However you want to look at it, the fact doesn't change.

I predicted BLRO over RONR, and no costly changes to Sub cases in such a buoyant market. Did not see the DB change, thought that would be gone, and the BLRO WG too.
