...when would they announce it? Does it "normally" coincide with Basel new releases?

I honestly can't believe they wouldn't raise them now.

5 or 6 years since last increase
limited supply of SS
many watches selling for over MSRP
Patek 20% increase on Nautilus

How much more wind in their back could they want?

Seems it could happen anytime. Doesn’t often coincide with Basel. I agree they’re long overdue for an increase. Here’s a good resource:
