How well does the SD43 fit on a smaller wrist. It is at 43mm but the lugs are tapered to give it, shall I say "smaller more proportioned fit"?

If you give your wristsize than maybe other owners can tune in and tell them their experience. I have average wrist (i think) of 17,5 cm/6,8 inch and have the SD43 and think is comfortable.
However I read that some owners removed the divers-extension and I can see that it will be even more comfortable.

Knowing wrist size would help answer. But first thing to do is remove the diver extension. Then you can try different combinations of links to remove on either side. That along with the glide clasp that allows for slight incremental adjustments (a lot of them) you should be able to find a comfortable fit on nearly any size wrist. How you think the 43mm looks on your wrist is another consideration, but that really has nothing to do with comfort.

6.5in/16.5cm flat wrist is all it takes to pull it off, anything extra is bonus.

I have an averaged sized 7" wrist. The slim lugs make this piece wear muh smaller than the advertised size IMO.

I have small wrist.6.75 and it wears great. With diver extension there was limited flexibility of band by clasp. I ended up removing dive extension on sd43 and boy does it wear better. Develdog posted on forum recommend for wrist of 6.75-7 inches to remove diver extension, put 5 links and 12 o’clock, 4 links at 6 o’clock then use glide for fine adjustment. Worked perfectly and I used blue loc-tite to secure my screws back.

Haven't measured my wrists but looking at these photos give me a good idea on what it will look like on my wrist.

Anyone care to post a profile wrist shot that shows how tall is sits? Watching DavidSW’s video says it’s 15mm tall compared to the Subs 12.4mm.

SD43 vs my old SubC. Note, the SD has a bezel protector on it.

This possibility kept me away from a DSSD. But it didn't seem a concern with the SD43 when I tried it on. I've had it since July '17 and it has not been an issue for me.

I haven't, it's not like it feels like I'm wearing a boat anchor on my wrist. I'm also pretty careful when it comes to not smacking my wrist around.

Its no thicker than the old SD4K Ceramic. And if 3mm is the difference between banging into something versus as Sub, chances are you'll hit the Sub off it too

Here's mine on my 6.75 inch wrist as the eye (not the phone camera) sees it

6.5" wrist here. I removed the diver extension right away. The watch weight has blended in nicely and I feel much different wearing it now from a week ago.
