I have done it and would never do it again. I’ve tried every variation of the RO and ROO and they are just not for me, unfortunately. You will never know until you own one. You may be the opposite of me and find they all work better than Rolex for you. It’s a very personal thing.

AP only lists the "base" cost of servicing on their website. Most people would assume that's the final servicing bill. They don't mention the cost of parts if it needs to be replaced. If you wear your watches hard and need to replace a steel bezel, it's at least $800. Someone replaced the scratched bezel screws for over $1,800.

Ceramic insert only for Rolex is $400, so they are still very comparable. A service is all that will usually be needed and even then it's after 5 years now so no big deal if you can afford one.

No. The 15400 is the worst looking RO. The proportions of the case size vs bezel are just wrong and the watch is huge. Compared to the original it looks lika a bad replica. 15202, 14802 or 5402 are the models you should be looking for, or if you want something more substantial on the wrist go for the "smaller" offshore models calendars, divers etc. I'm personally not a fan of the daytona, but I wouldn't change any daytona model for the 15400.

Agreed. The 15300, 15202 and even 15450 are much better sized IMO.
