My wife is a Rolex

I don’t know if I can describe it clear enough, but here it goes.
My wife is alot like Rolex...shes been around long enough and I still think shes the hottest brand around. A look that doesn’t go out of style. She knows what I like and I know she can make it happen..like giving me a “ceramic daytona” or a “ss ceramic GMT BLRO”, which makes my day (and the day after). And I don’t like other brands, i’m the kind of person that sticks to what I like...but all I get is “datejust” now and then...and don’t get me wrong, I like datejust (very much), but what’s the big deal? If she knows what I like, & she already bought that crazy looking “blue and red cermaic bezel” why doesn’t she put it on? Why the long “waiting list”?
I can’t help wondering....did I do something wrong and Rolex wants me to think about it?

Playing along with your thought process, I might say your wife is your AD and Rolex is sex. You want lots of Rolex, all sorts of Rolex variety, but all you get sometimes is good old Datejust (missionary).

So, the same rule applies: if all you focus on is the Rolex, then no soup for you or the AD will throw you a bone in the form of Datejust. Build a emotional bond with your AD. Get intimate with your AD. Be loyal to your AD ... then over time, you will get variety.

I'd say it's time to visit a Patek or AP ambassador and see if they any models you're interested in.

I did not understand your post, but if you say she's a Rolex it means she's really nice. Congrats.

I was going to ask a question about her bracelet, but thought that would be too much

So what you are saying, is that as good as fluted bezels are, one can use a Pepsi once in a while.

I hear ya!
