Got to try the new 5261R today
Long time lurker but new poster here.
I was lucky enough to try the new 5261R today, and despite being a woman's reference and not to everyone's taste I fell in love with it a bit. I have quite slender wrists so fit well for me. Not normally a Patek guy and I'm actually just waiting for my first Rolex but this is definitely something to aspire to and a great experience. For me the stainless steel Aquanaut was my favourite and would absolutely love to own one in the future. Pictures below: |

I am not a fan of that shade of blue on the gold. Maybe if it were a darker blue it would look better? I dunno but it does nothing for me regardless.

Welcome to the forum.
Being invited/allowed to handle Pateks with an AD when you are new to the brand is a good first step. Which AD was this? |

I love the reference, the colors and the rose gold from the picture, would love to try it on though to see it in natural sunlight light. Which is more polarizing.. The new 5226g or this?? Love them both , imo

I'm lucky I have built a great relationship with them in a short space of time and they invite me to any special events or showcases they do. The chances of me ever picking up a Patek from them I would imagine is still close to zero however!

I think it looks great. Don’t understand what’s with the hate.
