If you buy a Red do you qualify to become a tribe member?

MAD is not an MB&F. Only a MB&F owner (new or pre owned) can be a Tribe member.

Check out IG posts. The rotor should spin freely if you know how to flick your wrist. Give it a few more tries and see if you can figure it out.

My rotor is free spinning but I do also notice a wobble. My is super quite tho.

The wobble almost feels as though the rotor is not seated correctly.

Yup, totally normal as the heavier side of the rotor makes it wobble a bit.

All good

Somehow lol he’s raffling them off. I suspect a great deal of them are bought for speculative purposes even though there’s hardly any juice in it.

It's hilarious because the listings are all "another watch unexpectedly came up so I'm selling this one" .... Uh, yeah .. right - which is why they're all in brand new sealed condition?

My last email update send latest end of Aug but hope it comes sooner! Would love to rock this earlier in the summer months.

Hopefully the size is manageable on my skinny wrists!

I ordered both but thinking I may just do the blue one? Idk it’s almost a situation where I felt obliged to order them as I have an MBF. I think my son will really get a kick out of it (hes 4).

Get both, and I'm always on the lookout for a blue at sane pricing since I wear 'em.

How often does your red get wrist time?

About 10% in general, love the lightness and fun spinning.

I'd say 25% when going out for a meal / event / travel. When we're out and about it does tend to become a 'discussion' moreso than std timepieces. One waiter complimented my 'Invicta', I kid you not. Ah well, that was a 'different' discussion.

Love this aftermarket strap too (and have a blue strap in waiting).

Just received my Red 1 today from the second lottery! Love it, case finishing is excellent and the mix of design and and finishes on the "face" of the watch makes for great wrist presence. The team has really done a lot here within a tight budget and I think it's an incredible piece, a reminder that great design fun don't always have to be super expensive. There are some fun details that are hard to see and the watch reflects light in fun ways, very dynamic in person. I thought the height would both me but it doesn't at all and the red is such a cool metallic it's changing my mind about red watches. Time is a little hard to read and takes some getting used to but I think I'll get used to it. My number didn't come up in the first lottery, second lottery was a fun surprise, really enjoyed the buying process as much as the watch.

I also wear mine to travel when I am not sure if the destination is safe. No one will rob me over it and if I go to a watch store, it would garner enough “respect” so I don’t get ignored. (If the store has no idea of what it is, it is not worth my visit anyway )

I know you’re mostly kidding but I almost always wear jeans, t-shirt and a Casio when I go to watch stores /boutiques and I’ve never been treated poorly or ignored by the staff.

And you’re definitely right about the Mad 1 being a great travel watch.

Congrats. I am also a 2nd lottery winner. Did you get the watch when it was promised or did they deliver it early? I have an August delivery window and I am getting impatient

They committed to end of June and shipped last week so they were even a few weeks early! Even the packaging is awesome, like the watch, materials are simple but that is one really thoughtfully designed block of foam. In 3D the turtle inspiration comes through more than pics, so fun!
