Icon17 A few pics of it.

I think the discontinued version is even nicer than the current model, as the simple bezel highlights the meteorite dial better. Plus the discontinued model has full meteorite sub-dials. The red hands are also a nice touch, adding a splash of colour.

I have seen quite a few of these discontinued meteorite daytonas in the flesh. The print(letters) always seem to have been 'absorbed' into the dial and appear either faint or blurry.

Very hard to find a perfect print on this dial. But, Yes, this is imho the nicer meteorite daytona dial.

You do indeed see that under a loupe, or under magnification in my photos. To the naked eye the print looks fine. I suspect Rolex had difficulty printing on such an uneven natural surface as meteorite.
