Does anyone else feel CE is getting less special the more models they use it for? I almost preferred it when there was only 3 CE (PQ, PQ open work, 41mm open worked).
Almost starting to feel like a chanel line now IMHO. Not that I don't think it's beautiful, just makes the original two PQ's feel a tad bit less special now. |

Agree def getting less special but still “rare” in the grand scheme of things: Black QP: 600 pieces (confirmed) Black QP Openworked: ~50 pieces pa since 2019 (guess) White QP: same as openworked (guess) Tourbillon Chrono: 100 (confirmed) Tourbillon: 100 (confirmed) 34mm: 100 so far (guess) Openworked: 100 so far (guess) So that’s about 1,300 pieces since 2017. If you assume AP produced about 40k watches p.a. since 2017 - that’s 1,300 / 200,000. I think APs just trying to get more iterations out to satisfy demand from clients and not destroy the value of the line. 1,300 pieces is nothing to sneeze at and quite high but lowish in the grand scheme of things. |

Well, as I was never going to get one of those, I'm not overly concerned with that. I do however have a promise for a 77350CE for my wife

When that day comes will you show her the watch, or rent a secret second apartment to enjoy the watch in secret without her? Lol.

The rumored 26239CE would be a nice his/hers complement for a 77350CE, but that'll be a challenge. |

Patek made 1,300 pieces of 5976/1g and price is now x7 the msrp roughly. AP know what they are doing with the ceramic line imo.

It’s not just about the spending it is all about the quality of the relationship, FYI “only” bought 1 watch in 2021…and no it wasn’t 6 digits…nor 7! Now that AP goes almost exclusively direct to consumer they value the relationship building and organize themselves around it, spending is secondary. It is a very logical approach, put it like that : If you have 10 watches to sell and have 100 buyers, of course you prefer selling them to the people you know and you like, not to the strangers. |

Nothing is real anymore. I have a 5976/1G, and I love it, and I would never, ever, ever, ever, ever pay 700,000 for it. |

Is it the type of event that they give the opportunity to cut deals and make allocations prior to the official release? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Thank you! It’s absolutely addictive and considering how ridiculous the watch situation has gotten these days, it is a breath of fresh air to be actually bonding with horology lovers in the boutique who share a common love for the brand and hobby. And not hearing the words “market value” thrown at your face. May I ask which one of your AP’s is your favorite and why? (: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

+1 on sharing and bonding! To choose is to lose…they are so very different, different complications, different materials, dials, dimensions etc..the good thing is that because they are so different they fit different moods and so they each have lots of wrist time. Now if I have to absolutely choose one (I pray I don’t ever have to do that) I would go for my first love the 26574ST, QP, blue grande tapisserie dial, my first AP, my first QP and the one that had the most wrist time since the beginning of 2022 (a non leap year ;-)). The 15202PT is a very very very close second and one of the closest things to perfection I have ever seen and experienced, that perfect 39mm jumbo size, the heft, the « cold war radar » dial. The 15416CE a very very very close third for the craftsmanship, the wow and the smile on my face factor and it is actually on my wrist this weekend! |
