How heavy/light does it feel on the wrist?

Also how big is your wrist
It's noticeably lighter than any of my steel watches, maybe similar to a Ti Omega Seamaster (NTTD). Still, feels quite substantial (it's not a small watch).

Wrist is a bit over 7". I was surprised we took out only one link from the bracelet - anyone with an 7.5"+ wrist would probably need another link or two, which I imagine will be quite dear.

Links aren’t cheap for the CE bracelets. IIRC, I paid $1500+ for a 1.5 link. It was more than my wife’s white gold frosted link.

Seems like a large batch went out at once.

I remember during my first trip to the manufacture, we saw 10-15 QP’s, in all materials, that just finished production on a machine getting tested.

Congrats mate!!!

I must say I find it very hard to photograph black ceramic...
One thing that is even better than I thought with APs CE is that it really doesn't scratch. I wear mine all the time everywhere since I got it, gym, airport security, swimming, office, restaurants and bars (as I do my other RO btw). All of my other ROs steel or gold would have already been a bit scratched. Here nothing as good as day 1. Love this!!!

Congrats OP, I a absolutely love this watch. I have the steel version with the blue dial, buy im trying to convince my SA to get this one as well.

One issue i have with mine is that it can wear a bit too thick. Does yours hide the thickness considering its black?

Thanks

My wife has 34mm steel and CE pieces, the CE gives the illusion of a smaller look.

Along with the 38mm Blue Panda, I think this is the best looking chrono ever produced.

I don't have a 26240ST (or RG), but compared to the ones I tried the CE seems wear a little smaller, given the color and lighter weight.

Was wondering why you think more wearable than the QP? Was looking at a non ceramic QP, and would love your opinion.

Also, big congrats to the OP on an epic watch. A true stunner!

Casebook is steel (or titanium?). I don't know if that's cost-saving or for technical reasons (i.e., otherwise couldn't torque the screws sufficiently to achieve water resistance rating).

Technical reasons, assuming AP applies the same logic as with the CE QPs.

“And the back is titanium, instead of ceramic, to avoid cracking it if the rear screws are excessively tightened.”

Thanks for the info gentlemen.

How is the black ceramic bracelet reflecting light compared to an ss RO, Vogel? Is the polished bits more reflective? (as it’s basically glass)

I’ve yet to see this in person. So many questions, lol.

IMO, ceramic ROs are a little less flashy/more subtle than their SS counterparts. E.g, to me the 15407 seemed more bling than a 15416. AP CE has a more discreet and unique appeal, can't think of anything like it.
