I don't know, having 50-100 people at each location willing to wait years and almost all of them customers who had to qualify for the privilege of even being on it is pretty impressive imo. Most boutiques won't even entertain putting you on unless you have at least a two piece purchase history with them and that gets you to the back of the line. I'd imagine if they just took first come on those lists with no qualifications , the number at each boutique would be exponentially higher. Also as mentioned earlier, with the movement now being shared by four models up from two, that could significantly stretch waits as well.

All aside, gorgeous piece... Having just picked one up I'm a bit biased

Unfortunately I wasn’t lucky enough to get the 15407.

At the end of the day it turned out to be a blessing in disguise as I think the 39mm fits my wrist better

I find the 15305 more subtle and low key

To me the 15407 is abit loud with all the gold accents.

This is just my personal opinion.

I would have to go 15305, much prefer the 39mm size with a watch like this and my 7" wrist.

I think the 15305st is the best size, 39mm suits most wrists.
Maybe AP should have considered a 40mm case going forward.

I prefer the 15305 mostly due to the movement looking more uniform. The gold balance wheel at the 8 o’clock of the 15407 just looks...unbalanced to me.

I have both (OR version) and prefer the dial of the 15407 but don't wear it as the 15305 (39) fits much better. Since purchasing a 5980 i sometimes think the 39 is even too big. My vote would be 39 all day but it all depends on your wrist size. Nothing more i hate than a big bulky watch that screams LOOK AT ME.

On a side note, the 15305OR's and ST's have JUMPED in value like no other and are much more rare than the 15407's.

Agreed. Prefer the 15305 movement and classic 39mm.

Yes the 15305 whilst still amazing is just a little flat/monotone looking to me when compared to the 15407.
