Rubberclad with AP buckle instead of clasp

Does anybody have an AP Rubberclad with a buckle instead of a clasp? Do you mind sharing your pictures and experience?

I used to have a RC & put it on a Diver strap with tang buckle - way more comfy than the deployment clasp.

I have the Red gold version, and have thought about switching it to the buckle. Only problem is the cost of the buckle.

I have the exact setup as in the picture. I could never get the RC's deployant to feel comfortable and finally bought the diver strap. It's a 100% improvement. I now enjoy wearing the RC whereas before it was alway a bit uncomfortable. Go for it—it's well worth the money.

Buckle is WAY more comfortable than the clasp. Have made the change with my RGRC. Ended up using a DLC buckle which works looks wise and way cheaper than a RG buckle.

If the diver tang and strap is the alternative, it’s got to be one of the most comfortable options out there. The strap thickness works so well, buckle lies very flat so never digs in, and importantly, but rarely mentioned, very easy to get on and off.

I am a pilot, i pass trough the scanners many time per day, I always thought the Clasp is the best option.
Now I am curious, I will try the buckle.
