It's a great LE. It's not going to be out until approx. November and there's been very little media coverage about it. Still very much a sleeper release.

Like all of the CE pieces, I think it's going to need to be seen in person to be really appreciated but I don't think the RG plots look out of place. In images like the one below the design looks cohesive with the RG markers/hands and crown tip (IMO).

WOW I am just seeing this now. I didn't think there would be an offshore out there that would make me want to sell my 26405CE but I would do it in order to secure this pride of germany in rose gold!

Technically, yes, it's a German exclusive. A few boutiques outside of Germany might be getting one or two though.

The CE is a 300 piece LE (33,000 euros inc. VAT)
The RG is a 30 piece LE (47,000 euros inc. VAT)

I was going to pull the trigger on the 26405CE until I saw the 26415CE. No bad choice between those two ... Can't beat AP ceramic (IMO).

It wouldn't surprise me but I wouldn't be 100% sure about that. Maybe reach out to the Frankfurt boutique or Rüschenbeck to see if they have already sold all of their allocations.

Thanks! Fingers crossed I'll be booking a trip to go pick it up in the next few months. Went through the AP House in Munich as I've had nothing but excellent experiences there my "local" AP Boutique in Beverly Hills can barely be bothered to give me the time of day whenever I stop by.

Where did you secure yours through?

Not too long to go now. Just ordered the Grand Prix Offshore strap for it (the all black one not the version with the red edges). Think the grey alcantara strips on the calf skin will work really well with the grey dial.

I think the ceramic one will be best on the standard black rubber.

That's going to look great, Roger!

And I agree ... there are not many alternate strap choices for the CE. Maybe gray or white rubber would work but probably won't look as good as the black.

Yes looking for options for standard 26405CE strap and nothing can beat standard black rubber one...

If you don't mind me asking, was it a US based boutique? I contacted two different boutiques and I was told it was not being offered to the US.

I don't mind the question at all. I reached out to the German boutiques directly back in January as soon as I heard about the release. At the time, they took my information and told me they would contact me once they had a firm release and could guarantee allocation.

Not sure if this has been confirmed elsewhere yet but was emailing with the sales associate who placed my order and he confirmed that the tang buckle on the ceramic version is titanium.

Now I'm wondering if I should order a pink gold tang buckle like on my RG44 to match the plots / other rose details on the CE PoG.

Do as you please but I would not bother. Not worth the money and there are several other white metal accents on the watch anyway. If anything I’d order steel plots

Much cheaper!
