Here is our tree. Had to go with an artificial one this year since I just had shoulder surgery and couldn't lug a real one home.

Our artificial tree is maybe 15 years old but still hanging in there.

My wife's FABULOUS reindeer collection.

Decorated by all our kids and their significant others, and a special touch from our grandchildren. My Wife is a quilter and has made each one of us each our own special stockings over the years. We have two additions to our Clan this year so two more stockings to be added this year. Happy Holidays :)

Meanwhile, in Northern England, I decided to push the boat out. I know it needs a bit of tinsel and a light, but I like to take my time with these big jobs.

The good news is you only have to buy tiny gifts.

Hope the knee is feeling better every day, Dave.

Thank you my friend, got the dressing off yesterday, knee is still weeping but goodness me, didn't realise it would hurt this much. It will get better though, a bit of time and I will wonder what I was wimping about.

Lovely, is that a painting of Father Christmas or a print in the dining room, nice touch either way.

Saved a 4 week old feral kitten this summer. No dangling ornaments because he's psycho and likes to climb things. Most boring tree ever but the kitten is so cool we don't mind.
Here to next year's tree and a calmer cat.

I’ll forgive you. You did good.

You need something high up to keep the dream alive.
