1955 pre 806 Valjoux 72 AOPA Navitimer!

Hi guys, just received my 1955 pre 806 Valjoux 72 AOPA NAvitimer, unrestored except for rust on the hands taken off, is true pirate gold. The Navitimers are much more beautiful than I thought, it stands so very much impressively on the wrist, pictures to follow soon!!

Pics finally!

Watch: 1st generation Navitimer from 1955 with a Valjoux 72 movement made only in 1954-55 and the official watch of AOPA (Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association) distributed by Wakmann in the US.These have no reference number on the caseback and the 806 refernce number only appeared on the caseback in late 1955
Numbers: No records on exact numbers but these are very rare.

Here's a pic of her prior to removing the rust on the hands, these get rusted because of the radium lume on the hands and markers which also causes the lume to darken when mixed with rust. I know some of you would have loved to keep the rust but I am a wearer so I had to take that off:),

And here's what she looks like after removing the rust and a movement only service

Thanks, is a vintage Japanese Champion bracelet that was commonly supplied with these watches back then.
