6006G 240 Rotor Noise?

I have just collected a 6006G with the 240 movement and I am wondering whether the noisy rotor is normal.

It seems quite excessive but I know some rotors can be noisy.

Any clarification would be great:)

I have a 5712 and the 240 makes a little noise when I manually grab the watch and shake it softly to make it rotate. However, when on my wrist, I don't hear it. When do you hear yours? While on the wrist?

it's a great feeling when you're going along your day and suddenly you moved your hands in a way that made the rotor spin perfectly. the sound the gears a Patek make is music to my ears.

I can compare that feeling to a good chocolate bite

we will never be able to tell if the watch has any movement issues unless we see the watch in person OP

So its sounds like it is normal? If so, that's great!

I will make some calls just in case. Thanks

It can be normal up to some degree of course. A gold watch with a thin case can be louder than other watches you've had in the past.

Thanks Guys, I have had it on the timegrapher, and it's running perfectly. It looks like I love the noise as well :)
