DD40 as daily driver?

Do you wear your DD40 as a daily driver?

What about PM in general?

Yes, I use my DD40 WG as daily watch since I got it 2 months ago.

I have used various PM watches over the years as a daily watch. No issues, but have returned to SS, Titanium, Ceramic as a daily now. I still have a PM watch but it does not get a lot of wrist time.

Wear whatever you want.
I have a vintage day date which I wear sparingly, wear SS daily. I wear dress clothes 5 days a week, and I could easily wear the yellow gold every day, just choose not to.

Yes. I rotate my watches in two months intervals. I look forward to the DD40 PT rotation.

Not been my daily by definition but been wearing a gold sub 3-4 days a week the last year. Includes bouncing on my wrist a couple of days a week on my electric scooter. It's fine, haven't skipped a beat.

It could be easily done. The watch is durable and reliable, so it can handle the rigors of daily use with no problem.

I wear a gold Submariner or gold Daytona about 50% of the time. Don't think I'd want to wear a gold watch every day, but a white gold DD40 might be a great option.

Not me personally but I do know those that wear their DDs as dailies and have all told me that it is fine.

I wear a PM watch 5-6 days a week no problem. WG, YG, RG, etc...whatever you’re comfortable wearing, all in the Rolex lineup are just fine for daily wear. I practice good wrist awareness, but don’t baby them.

My FIL wears his for any and everything. He couldn’t care less.
This is after I steam cleaned it. It was pretty nasty and has scratches and dings all over. But once cleaned up looked great again.
Go for it!

I wear my WG DD40 more than any of my other watches. No problem at all.

I wear PM everyday with no issue. Proper fIt is even more important with a heavy watch.

I wear a gold or platinum watch every day with the exception of the odd day I’m wearing my Fifty Fathoms in SS.

A DD40 makes a great daily driver.

Yes I do, but it's a DD36.
My DD is in WG, so it looks like steel.

I wore my GMT II LN every day since I bought it in 2010. I bought my DD40 ER last summer and have only taken it off to go on vacation a couple of times where I would be doing some hiking. The DD40 ER is my everyday watch and to be honest I’m a little sad each night when I put it away to go to sleep.
