Went in for a Datejust and got THIS instead 🤯

This is my first ever Rolex and first post here. Hey all!!! 😀

I was coached by a Rolex veteran to form a good relationship with local ADs. I took his advice and drove to ADs within a 100mi radius.

All ADs appreciated a personal visit than a phone call but it wasn't enough to sell me a Rolex. 😔

Two weeks later I received an email from one of the ADs that a few Datejusts became available. I hauled my butt over and without any delay she brought out the watches. I tried them on and liked them but she noticed that I wasn’t in LOVE with what was in front of me so she whispered, “Qazi, do you like the YACHTMASTER?” My jaw dropped to the floor as I screamed, “YES, I LOVE THE YM. Tell me you have one?”

After going out of her way and convincing her manager she came back with the MOST BEAUTIFUL WATCH I have ever seen.

Without even trying it I had my credit card and ID out. This YM with a blue dial is hands down the best watch I own.

Sorry for the longest story but I hope some of you relate with me on this.

Happy Sunday!

P.S. Enjoy the wrist shots.

Massive congratulations.
Who won’t fall in love with this mesmerizing reference. The touch of red works like magic on that sunburst blue dial.

What a beautiful watch. Congratulations, you're very lucky. The red hand and text really make the dial pop. I think I would prefer this over a Sub.

Thank you so much and I agree with you. Instead of a black sub I would go for the Kermit if I can get lucky.

Congratulations. That YM with the blue dial, and a 40mm Explorer II are sleepers.

My friend prefers the grey dial on the Yachtmaster which I could never understand. I don't think you can improve the blue Yachtmaster. Miles better! Love mine.
