Ok I use to own a pam 104 and got rid of it for a ss daytona. Earlier this year I purchased a 233 dot dial and traded it for a ap roc. For so e reason I can't not keep a panerai on my wrist for more than a year.

My problem is when I get rid of a panerai the itch comes back. I was thinking maybe a 1950 submersible or a bronzo. Any suggestion would be appreciated. Or get a base panerai.

I think we all have the "itch" for certain brands and they aren't totally explicable. In your case, what about a Panerai chronograph? Somewhat like you, I've had a Daytona and now have a ROC. My Panerai is a 121 which is the smaller 40mm chronograph with the El Primero movement. The family with these movements include the 072, 074, 121, and 122. To me, it is a great "weekend" watch although I am wearing it now at work with a gray leather strap. But since you sold your two PAMs for chronographs, maybe you'd like the "busier" dial of a PAM chronograph better.

104, 233, Submersible, Bronzo.... Kind of all over the place, PAM-wise. There is no substitute for multiple trips to the AD, IMHO.

Go base. I've owned many PAM models and ended up with one to scratch the itch. They really are a good bang for your buck. I went 111.

IMHO. Your best bet is either a 000 or 111.

While I agree with recommendations for a base, I will give an alternative - look for a 64C. It is a 44mm submersible - they are getting hard to find (but the chase is fun too!) and they are special watches. IMHO, a very cool weekend watch that has a little something special to it.
