Here is some info on dial variations discussed in another thread that some may find useful.
From left to right the three dial variations (MK I, MK II, MK III) documented by fellow forum member SPACE-DWELLER. His original post: https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=252048

I also added the JC for your quick reference.

The position of the = between 12800ft and 3900m is going to assist you quickly finding out the dial variation in the watch you are looking at.

The dial on JC is a mule between the MK I version (as = is on italics and fonts on ft are alike, flat S) and MK II (coronet shape).
