Thank you my friend! Before the Angelus was opened, Cos d’Estournel was the clear favorite!

Quintessa Visit! Wonderful!

We loved Darioush. We joined the wine club.

Trefethen - We also joined their wine club.

Private tasting at Palmaz. What an amazing place. The cave is 19 stories under ground.

Caymus never disappoints!

Conundrum - from the Caymus family - is my new go to sparkling under $60. This is only about $20/bottle.

Pulled some Papillon from the cellar recently

These guys were for sale, but out of my price range!

I definitely recommend it my friend. It as well as Cade (if you haven’t tried it- made by them as well). Some really spectacular wine.

They also have a few other varietals (Syrah, Merlot...) and the Reserve Cabs are great and have awesome cellar potential.

If you have them.. I'd suggest checking up on it. I have had these since release and this particular bottle is showing signs of age. Still good but I will drink my other bottles this year.

Cheers!

My apologies from missing out on the thread lately, I haven't been into my wines for the past month or so. Issues with the wife have come to a head. Had the kids by myself for Friday night, took them to Morton's for steak and salmon. Dry aged New York for me tonight, the boys shared a New York strip. Surprised to see my 9 yo eat salmon, she normally eats a New York strip. It may have been a young one but it was a great bottle never the less. 2014 Hundred Acre Wraith and it was ready to go 5 minutes out of the bottle. It was a welcome break from all of the stress. :)

Great wine at a great price point for sure! We love Darioush - we actually met him last time we were out there - had a private tasting in his cellar - and he came down and chatted with the wife and I for a bit. Great fun!!

Got me thinking about opening one of these tonight....
