Breitling AD in Canada

I see a lot of posts where we should be able to get 20-30% off MSRP. I'm looking for a dealer in Canada that has done such deals.

The local AD in Edmonton was only offering me 10% off and that was the best they would do. Given the current Fx rate, it's not going to help if I purchase in the US.

Anyone in Canada have any suggestions?

I haven't seen these types of discounts since the days of La Swiss unfortunately. Have tried to talk discounts at Birks, but obviously the sales staff there scoffed at the fact that I would even bring that up.

European Boutique at the Eaton Center was not willing to offer any discount even when I told the sales rep that I was very serious about making a purchase. And when I asked on a model that they did not have on display she did not even want to talk to me. She just said check it on line. Life must be good for those high end ADs.

Best I have heard was 15% off at a local Birks, but it was a store event that gave 15% off.

10% - 12% is normal now.

AD in Kansas City would max at 10% and said Breitling really has cracked down on discounting for AD’s. Not sure if that is true or not, but he wouldn’t budge off 10%.

You might do a little better in Calgary, but the 30% off days are long gone. Good luck.

La Swiss used to deep discount the breitlings. As per everyone else 10% is probably what you are going to get, maybe some places will let you save the tax.

The only places that I am regularly seeing the deep discounts are through Grey's like Joma and Authentic Watches, but with our dollar where it is, makes no sense to purchase in the US even with those 'discounts'

I’m also missing la suis....looking for a Breitling AD in the Vancouver area that would swing a deal.... looking to pull the trigger on the gmt navitimer. Unfortunately, I think because of an abundance of foreign money here willing to spend on luxury goods, high end store will most likely scoff at such a notion.

I think it is very hard to find one with a discount of over 15%, the best are within the range of 10% - 15%.

Birks routinely does 15% for their Valentine/Christmas event for Breitling. They usually still honour the 15% off as a token of "customer appreciation".

There are smaller AD in the Vancouver area such as Time and Gold and such and was hoping that they could beat the Birk's pricing. I think the AD are audited to ensure level playing field, so perhaps getting a strap upgrade might be workable. Anyone have any experience with the smaller AD shops in the Vancouver area?
